what we did at Christmas

We stewed in a hot tub.
We lay in the snow.
We played pool.
We drank wine.
We apparently had a naturist Christmas.
We lay in the snow some more.
We looked at this view
Iz dressed up as Santa Claus
We decorated our tree.

We played Bananagrams

We wore onesies.

We sat around the kitchen table.
We opened presents.
We cooked.

We went sledging.
We took an obnoxious amount of photographs.

We went skiing and snowboarding.
We fell over.
We gurned a lot when people were taking photos of us.
We had a lovely Christmas dinner cooked by Isabel.
We played the Post-It note on your forehead game.
We built a fort.
We ate leftovers.
We rolled down a hill.

So much snow

This is the view from the school... normally you can see the whole way across the valley.

I love cat

I have a class of sec 2s every day 7. Day 7 happened to fall on Hallowe'en a few weeks ago. I had dressed up as a cat. And every lesson since, one of the students has drawn me a picture of a cat. This week was the first example in colour.

at this point, let's bear in mind that the student in question is probably 13.

Another wander around Quebec

We had an ugly jumper Christmas dinner with Renaud and Kristen etc from MELS (where I completely forgot to take pictures, I'm sure much to certain people's relief), then we went for a wander around Quebec. The World Cross Country Skiing Championships were on, so we swung by and took a look.

lush!

After two days of hiking, we decided we were due some mulled wine and chocolate. Annie had one of these fire things in her garden, so Daisy and I chanelled Bear Grylls and lit a fire, and we sat outside watching Made in Chelsea on Youtube.

Mont Sainte-Anne

Another day, another hike. We went up the Mont Sainte-Anne, being at one with nature and suchlike. We then came down, via one of the black runs. It was ridiculously steep.
