Mont du Lac des Cygnes

Annie and I drove up the road to the Charlevoix region to go for a hike around the Lac des Cygnes. It was a lovely walk, and didn't feel too cold cold at all, even though the tempereature was well below zero.  It was lucky we got such a sunny and wind-less day! The only small issue was that there was quite a lot of ice on the path at some points!

We did, however, have a bit of a run-in with a squirrel.

We stopped at a lake to take some pictures of the view (which was lovely), and this tiny little squirrel came over to us, apparently expecting to be fed. He didn't seem to want the carrot stick Annie offered him however, so we gave up and went back to our photo-taking. Next thing I know, he's climbing up my leg. I think Annie enjoyed the look on my face a lot. The squirrel ran away, making some rather terrifying noises, so we decided to be on our way.
